Puppy Overcomes Her Fear Of Men Thanks To Your Help Leave a comment

When you buy items from the iHeartDogs store, part of that profit goes to Greater Good Charities, an organization that helps lots of animals in need. Greater Good Charities’ GOODS Program donates food and other essential supplies to shelters and rescues. These donations can help ensure more dogs are saved.

A puppy named Annie lived in a home where the wife loved her and spoiled her very much. However, the husband disliked Annie so much that the wife feared for the puppy’s safety. So, the wife surrendered Annie to Furry Friends Animal Rescue in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to ensure nothing bad happened to her.

Because of her past living situation, Annie was fearful of men when she arrived at the rescue. Volunteers at the rescue were patient with her, and over time, she learned that not all men are scary. Now, she’s a loving and playful girl around almost every human she meets.

Funding Annie’s Care

The reason Furry Friends Animal Rescue was able to take Annie in is because of donations. They receive essential supplies from the GOODS Program, allowing them to focus their funds on other areas of care, such as vet visits and training. The more supplies they receive, the more dogs they can rescue.

“Without the GOODS Program, I couldn’t help all these dogs because I wouldn’t be able to feed them. So a super big thank you to the GOODS Program for supporting rescues and their mission to help the animals,” Furry Friends Animal Rescue wrote.
